Instagram Recap - Recent Outfits
Dress: Windosr Boutique | Sunglasses: Diff Eyewear
I wore this Labor Day weekend on a trip to Myrtle Beach and it was the perfect comfy beach outfit! This maxi dress is flowy and loose, so its perfect when you want a comfy, no fuss outfit after being on the beach. Its honestly comfier than a t-shirt and shorts to me, and gives major style factor at the same time. It even has a criss cross back and side slits!
Top: My Story
This top was perfect for a relaxing Saturday trying out a new restaurant in town and seeing a movie. Its a thin, loose, textured top, so it kept me cool and the ruffle sleeves added a little flair. I could literally throw this on with anything and it would work - jeans, black skinny pants, colored pants...this list goes on. Such a closet staple!
You may recognize this dress from my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post and I finally wore it out on date night last weekend. I love that its different from other dresses I own - its definitely a date night or nice event dress, but the knit material makes it work for a more casual occasion if needed. The tulip hem and wrap style are so fun!
Tank: Lilly Pulitzer | Shorts: Nike Tempo
Stephen suggested we have a fun zoo day trip before work started back for me (he knows me and my love of naimals so well). It was, of course, blazing hot, so this Lilly Pulitzer tank and Nike tempo shorts combo kept me as cool as possible. You can't go wrong with Lilly in the summer!
Dress: Walmart | Sandals: Payless | Earrings: Lisi Lerch
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw me share this dress...this $10 dress...from, dare I say it...Walmart. Yes, you read that correctly. I'm still not quite sure how this happened, but I passed by it one day while running an errand and stopped dead in my tracks. It's been on repeat ever since! I even wore it to Open House to meet my new 3rd graders (along with these lace up heeled sandals and Lisi Lerch earrings). Lesson learned: periodically scan the clothing section at Walmart for gems like this. Never thought I'd be saying those words, but I think the dress speaks for itself!
Dress: Mint Julep Boutique | Wedges: Saks Off 5th
This dress is from Mint Julep Boutique last year, but I wore it to work recently and fell in love with it again. It happens to pair perfectly with my leopard print wedges that were a Saks Off 5th outlet find this summer. I'm excited that this cobalt blue and leopard are a great transition into fall, so I can keep wearing it for a couple months!
I hope everyone enjoyed summer and is gearing up for fall and enjoying fall candles and pumpkin spice lattes, even if you're like me and still dealing with 90 degree temps! Its the spirit that counts right??
XOXO,
Linda
